KeyLoom ("we", "our", or "us") operates the KeyLoom macOS application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information when you use our application.
Information Collection
KeyLoom is designed with privacy in mind. We want to be transparent about what data we handle:
- Keystroke Data: All keystrokes are processed locally on your device. No keystroke data is transmitted to any external server.
- Clipboard Data: Clipboard content is stored locally on your device only. We never access, transmit, or store your clipboard contents on external servers.
- Usage Analytics: We do not collect any usage analytics, telemetry, or tracking data.
Data Storage
All data generated by KeyLoom, including clipboard history, settings, and preferences, is stored exclusively on your local device using macOS system storage. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it.
Third-Party Services
KeyLoom does not integrate with any third-party analytics services, advertising networks, or data brokers. The application operates entirely offline after installation.
Permissions
KeyLoom may request the following macOS permissions:
- Accessibility: Required to detect keyboard input and simulate key presses across applications.
- Input Monitoring: Required to detect physical keyboard state (Shift, Caps Lock).
These permissions are used solely for the core functionality of the application and are not used to collect personal information beyond what is necessary for the app to operate.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your information to outside parties. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating the application, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential.
Children's Privacy
KeyLoom does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.
Changes to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "last updated" date at the top of this page.
